Sierra at Southlake offers outpatient programming for adults who have developed mental health concerns. Our team provides the comprehensive services that can help each person make sustained progress toward improved health.
Personalized Service for Adults
Outpatient programming at Sierra at Southlake may be the ideal option for people who meet the following criteria:
- Adults age 18 and older of all genders
- Struggling with mental health concerns
- Able to fully engage in all aspects of care
- Do not need round-the-clock supervision
Our outpatient programming serves adults who can benefit from step-down support after completing a residential or inpatient program, clients who are stepping up from traditional outpatient care and those who are receiving professional help for the first time.
All admissions decisions at our center are made on an individual basis. We review each person’s history, needs and goals to determine if our center is the right place for them.
From the admissions assessment through the discharge planning process, we strive to provide the focused service that promotes improved health and long-term progress.
Two Levels of Outpatient Care
To best serve the adults who choose Sierra at Southlake, we provide services at two outpatient levels: a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Depending on need and progress, clients may receive care at one or both of these levels.
In both programs, our clients receive a variety of evidence-based, research-supported services provided by a team of dedicated experts. Our PHP features five hours of programming per day, five days per week, while our IOP offers three hours of daily programming, three times each week.
When our programs are not in session, PHP and IOP clients can return to their home or an alternative supported residence, work part time, attend school, participate in volunteer activities and otherwise engage in a healthy independent lifestyle.
Length of stay in our PHP and IOP is customized according to what is best for each adult.
